Curtain Hooks

There are two types of hooks used for soft furnishings.

The first type is a metal hook, which is fixed to the wall in line with the outer edge of the curtain to hold curtain fabric or rope tassel tie-backs in place.

The other type of curtain hooks is used for fixing your curtains to whatever track or pole you have selected. Most curtain hooks are made from plastic, nylon or metal. Metal hooks are often brass or zinc plated, whereas curtain hooks literally hook into the curtain heading tape, which then attaches the curtains to the curtain rings or gliders.

Curtain hooks are also used for hooking curtain pelmets to valance rails. Some curtain headings such as pinch pleat and goblet require a special type of curtain hook called a pin hook which can be literally pinned into the curtain heading, allowing you to place the hook in the exact location you require.
