Brackets

Whether you’re replacing old and broken curtain track brackets or simply wanting to spread the load of heavy weight curtains by adding extra brackets in the required areas, the key areas that need to be supported on a curtain rail are at the ends where the weight of the curtain is drawn back to; this area is called the stacking area.

Also, if you have a corded track, it is a good idea to add brackets to spread the load of the downward pulling motion of the cording system. In other areas such as a bay window, the brackets positions should be fitted just before the each bend to give the corners as much support as possible.
