Cord pulls have several uses in the production of window blinds, curtain poles and tracks. It is used to rise and lower blinds often with a small wooden or plastic bobble threaded on to the end of the cord and secured in place with a knot. It is also used in all forms of corded curtain tracks and poles, hence the name. Some curtain tracks and poles are continuous corded allowing long lengths of tracking to be operated without cords fowling on the floor, wall mounted pulley tensioners keep the cording system taut.
Corded system can be cored to the left, right or split drawn pulling from both ends, specified hand operated poles and tracks can be upgraded and converting with a cording set. Non-continuous corded types have plastic or metal cord weight’s ensuring the cord is tensioned and does not foul up gliders, overlap arms and pulley mechanism.
