Wooden finials vary from a simple ball design to a hand finished work of art. Wood is such a versatile medium that contemporary wooden finials are now available to be included in our extensive product range. The wood is stained, painted or for a touch of elegance can be quilted in gold leaf to match the wooden curtain pole. A simple wooden cone finial used in conjunction with a slender stainless steel pole is really effective.

Due to the small amount of wood actually used in a curtain finial, such beautiful woods such as walnut, oak or maple can be used for curtain finials for although it is not feasible to use this type of wood for the entire curtain pole. When used in conjunction with the metal of the curtain track it creates a striking contrast with a very contemporary feel. The simple treatment can co-ordinate with wooden flooring or furniture and helps emphasize the warmth of the use of this natural product.
