Stainless steel holdbacks are available in both styles of hold back. They can either be a decorative detail of steel that is attached to a straight rod to which the is disc screwed, at the other end of the rod it screws onto a fixing plate which in turn is fixed to the wall.

Steel curved holdback arms fix to the wall at one end which then bends back over itself grasping the curtains in its embrace with a decorative detail at the other end. Due to the fact that stainless steel or steel effect is a relative newcomer to the curtain pole industry, the designs tend to be very contemporary.
