Wooden Holdbacks

Wooden holdbacks are normally flat circular discs of wood with some turned with ornate linear patterns cut into the front surface of the wood and others with decorate patterns carved into the surface giving a range of exquisite designs. The disc is then attached to a turned stem with a metal fixing screw suitable for fixing firmly to the wall. These holdbacks are stained or painted to match the wood finish of the curtain poles.

Wooden hold backs tend to be in a more traditional style, but are now available in contemporary mix and match designs with the blending of steel and other types of metal into the decorative detail.
