Three sided bays are the most common bay shape in the UK and as a result we have a huge range of 3 sided bay poles for you to choose from. To make it even easier we have broken down bay poles into three different categories.

Do you want one pair of curtains in your 3 sided bay window?
If so read on, some bay poles are supplied with passing curtain rings and specially designed passing brackets; these will allow a pair of curtains to glide from the sides of the bay all the way to the centre of your window. Poles such as the Sunflex Belgravia 3 sided bay pole and the Integra Options 28mm bay pole kit are a very good example of this passing brackets system.

Some 3 sided pole kits have normal curtain rings and standard support brackets located around the corner areas which won’t allow curtains to pass. In this case multiple pairs or curtains have to be hung with in the bay e.g. a single curtain on the sides of the bay and a pair across the centre of the window. The Integra Lexington and Brooklyn three sided bay poles are a very good example of this type of pole.

Three sided metal bay pole kits are supplied with everything you need in one pack, making this type of bay pole the easiest to purchase along with fast delivery times. Each brand such as Integra, Speedy, Rolls or Swish manufacture there bay pole ranges in different ways which means variations in the way they fit and function.

With these two points in mind please consider the how you want your curtains to work with in the bay and how the pole is to be fitted, based on this you should be able to determine what metal bay pole kit you require.

Custom made 3 sided bay poles
If you want a high quality bay curtain pole or you just have a awkward bay window that an off the shelf bay pole just wont fit, then a made to measure bay pole is for you. All of our 3 sided bay poles are made by the manufactures to your bay specifications allowing you to choose from option such as:

• The pole location within the bay
• Reverse bends (bending the pole out the bay back in to the room)
• Top fix or wall fix
• Corded or uncorded
• Cord colour and cord length
• Curtain pole colour

Create your own 3 sided bay pole
The create your own bay pole section consists of ranges of curtain poles which are sold in component parts. Poles such as the Integra Options 28mm and Swish 28mm mix & match enable you to create a three sided bay pole by hand picking the curtain pole parts you specifically need.

1. Simply measure each side of your three sided bay window then select the lengths of pole you require, poles can easily be cut to size with a hacksaw.

2. You then need to add two corner joints to connect the poles which will allow the poles to be angled around the bay.

3. The next step is to work out how many brackets you need to support the poles within the bay. The quantity of brackets required will depend on the size of the bay window, as a quick guide you will require two passing brackets either side of each corner angle, a centre bracket and two end bay brackets. Intermediate brackets may be required to add extra support.
