Extra Long Curtain Poles

In this section we offer the choice of extra long wooden curtain poles or extra long metal poles.

Wooden curtain poles offer a traditional look to your window dressing, as the extra long lengths of wooden curtain poles often come in diameters of 35mm and above to cope with the span – please bear in mind the thickness of the wooden pole when making a decision. Available in extra long lengths of up to 6 metres (see the Rolls Modern Country range), this wooden pole consists of two lengths of 3 metre poles joined together with a joining screw and supported with a centre bracket.

Extra long metal curtain poles are achieved when two single long length curtain poles are joined together with a joining piece which is fitted inside the two poles to connect them together and supported with a centre bracket. Unlike the extra long wooden, the metal poles do not require the diameter to be so thick to hold the weight of the curtains. The Cameron Fuller range range of metal poles offers lengths of up to 480cm. This consists of two 240cm poles joined together with a connector and centre bracket to achieve one length of pole.

Extra long curtain poles can also be achieved from our made to measure range from Silent Gliss. The 30mm Metropole can be purchased in single lengths of up to 6 metres and can be wall or ceiling fixed. The specially designed brackets offer no obstruction, allowing the gliders to pass so that the pole can be split, drawn or stacked all left or all right.
