These rails are simple in design and one of the cheapest most basic method of hanging your curtains. They are available in plastic or metal with many different combinations of hooks, sliders, brackets and gliders. The most basic of these tracks are not so aesthetically pleasing to the eye so if you wish to use this form of track in your main living areas, they are best hidden behind a curtain pelmet or valance whereas the more contemporary modern coloured tracks are stylish in their own right.

The choice of valance rail to suit this type of track is extensive and very easy to fit. If the curtains have much use, then we suggest you fit a pair of plastic or wooden curtain draw rods to enable the opening and closing of the curtains without continually touching the curtains as they will quickly become soiled.
