Corded curtain rails and tracks are particularly suited to heavy curtains or light coloured fabrics as the corded system means that the curtains do not need to be continually handled. If the rail is particularly long then a continuous system will be required or the track will need to be split drawn, which is corded at both ends of the rail.

Most corded tracks have overlap arms as the corded system is attached to the overlap arm with the rest of the runners or gliders running freely within the same channel. Care must be taken to check that there is not any obstruction in the way of the pulley cord systems at the end of the curtain track such as large pieces of furniture. These rails can be ordered left or right handed or split drawn. If the curtain track is made to measure then you must state at the time of ordering your cording requirements. Alternatively, a pre packed track can be recorded to the left or to the right.
