Corded Wooden Poles

The beauty of the made to measure wooden curtain pole is that it will give you various customised features such as the option of choosing if you want your wooden pole to be pulley corded. If the corded option is chosen it will give you the benefit of a light smooth gliding action and with the added advantage of keeping hands from tugging at the leading edge of the curtain fabric.

Cord lengths can also be specified this can be particularly useful for instance at a high level landing window where extra long pull cord is required. You can specify if you want your pull cord to operate from the left or right of the curtain pole which is essential if there is a large piece of furniture obstructing a particular side.

Extra Long Poles

Alternatively, both sides of the curtain pole can be corded allowing each curtain to work independently of the other. Cord systems as supplied with to large brass cord weights, in some cases continuous cording of the curtain pole is required when extra wide pole lengths are specified.
