A wet room bathroom is literally what it says. The floor slopes slightly towards the drainage area and you or the children can splash away to your hearts content without the restrictions of shower curtains or cubicle doors. This style of bathroom was originally designed with the disabled home owner in mind as it offered ease of access without the need of hoists to access the bath or the constraints of a small shower cubicle.

A wet room is the ideal place for a power shower as you have plenty of room even for a double fun shower. If you find that you would like to partition off the “wet end” for reasons of privacy and to reduce the splashes a cubicle rail, like the Silent Gliss Shower Rail, can be fitted to suit your measurements leaving you still with lots of space. The windows should be fitted with a Roller Blind such as the Alisa Aqua roller blind, or a Metal Venetian Blind, like the Barley, keeping the look unhampered, with minimal amounts of fabric being called for in this situation in case of splashes.
