In 1952 Silent Gliss manufactured the first silent curtain track, this paved the way for production of uncorded plastic curtain tracks and valance tracks. From there the company went on to produce other window accessories including electric curtain tracks and corded plastic valance tracks.

Fifty years on, the company has expanded its range to the production of home accessories including roman blinds and venetian blinds. Also in construction are roller blinds and vertical blinds.

The development of electric curtain tracks made the company very popular with security firms, allowing timers to be installed to draw curtains at any given time of the day or night. With a worldwide reputation for quality, and using the latest technology in all their products Silent Gliss are now one of the market leaders in window fashions and security blinds.
