Swish Design Studio Mix & Match 35mm Curtain Poles

The Chunky 35mm (1 3/8") diameter Swish Design Studio collection is available for you to create your own unique curtain pole from the accessories available within this section. Mix & Match between colours or purchase only the items required to best suit your window dressing and style of decor.

Design Studio curtain poles

Swish straight poles - all poles are supplied in 1 piece in lengths starting from 150cm (59 1/16") and going up to 240cm (94 1/2"). Two poles can be joined together to achieve longer lengths of up to 480cm (189") by purchasing a 35mm pole joiner (sold separately). Each pole is complete with 2 x wall fixing extendable brackets which allow you to alter the projection of the curtain pole from the wall to help avoid window obstacles. Use one of the supplied brackets in the centre of the pole to support the join.

Swish Bay Window curtain poles - suitable for hanging curtains in three sided bay windows, the pole kits are available in 2 lengths of 300cm (118 1/8”) or 500cm (196 13/16") and include either wall or ceiling fixing brackets. Bend bay kits are also available to purchase separately to add an extra bend if required, or for adding a bay return (bringing the curtain pole back into the room).

All poles are suitable for hanging heavy weight curtains of up to 15kg (total weight) and all poles can be cut down to your exact required length at home using a fine tooth saw.

Design Studio finials

The Swish finials are available in a choice of beautiful designs in a collection of materials including glass, perspex, metal, crystal and sandstone to coordinate with both modern and traditional interior design schemes. Simply screw the finials into the collars supplied at each end of the poles, alternative style collars are also available to purchase separately.

Curtain pole brackets from the collection

Both wall fixing and ceiling fixing brackets (passing or standard) are available to fit the curtain poles from the range. Both are extendable and can be purchased separately to add extra support to your Swish metal curtain poles. Recess brackets can also be purchased for hanging a pole in a gap between 2 walls or within a window recess.

Swish curtain rings for 35mm poles

Should you wish to add curtain rings to the straight run curtain poles, two styles are available which are the standard or luxury rings. Both have nylon lining in the inside edge for a nice smooth and quiet glide, the standard rings are slightly thinner with loop wire at the base for attaching curtain hooks and the luxury rings are chunkier with a welded eyelet at the base.

When adding curtain rings, we recommend 1ring for every 10cm (3 15/16") of pole length.

Foldaway holdbacks from Swish

To complete the look and keep your curtains tidy and held back from the window opening, foldaway holdbacks are available in coordinating colours which have a folding arm when not in use and are supplied in pairs.

Please note - Mixing products between different manufacturers or brands is unadvisable as tolerances will be slightly different and may not be compatible.
