A new style of curtain pole mixing natural wood with metal brackets, metal curtain rings and alternative material finials are becoming more and more popular across the country for interior designers and decorators looking for a contemporary and unique window dressing.
Mixing the best of both worlds, these curtain poles are particularly well suited to modern interiors with a traditional edge. The look and feel of the natural wood delivers a warm and welcoming feel to the room, while the metal brackets, rings and finials stand out against the wood, creating a contrasting and modern effect.
The poles are made from quality solid oak wood with a visible natural wood grain running along the pole. The Oak is grown in FSC environmentally friendly and sustained forests and the metal brackets, curtain rings and finials are all manufactured from steel and available in the four classic colours of stainless steel, chrome, black nickel and spun brass.
The introduction of the wooden pole to rooms with wooden floors, furniture or kitchen units ect and matching the metal accessories to existing metal furniture in your room such as lights or light switches will create a harmonious look to your décor.
Our wood and metal mix curtain poles are available in multiple lengths in two diameters including 28mm (1 1/8") and 35mm (1 3/8").
The 28mm (1 1/8") diameter poles are suitable for medium weight curtains up to 8kg and the chunkier 35mm (1 3/8") diameters will support medium to heavy weight curtains of up to 12kg.
All necessary quantities of metal wall fixing brackets, curtain rings, finials, standard fixing screws with wall plugs and easy to follow fitting instructions are included with all curtain poles.
Additional accessories are available to purchase separately including extra curtain rings, additional or alternative brackets such as recess or ceiling fix brackets and coordinating curtain holdbacks can all be found in the ‘related items’ section in the product.
