Recess Brackets
(166)Fitting Curtains Between Two Adjacent Walls
Recess brackets are ideal for fixing curtains directly inside a window recess, or onto adjacent walls if there is limited or no space above or beside the windows for conventional wall fix brackets. There are 2 styles of recess supports, a half cup shape which the rod simply lowers into once the supports are fitted. The second type has a collar that slides over the end of the pole and screws onto a backplate attached to the wall which in turn holds the rod securely in place. When fitting you will require 1 support at each end of the curtain pole, a centre bracket will also be required for all lengths of 240cm (94 1/2") and above or if the rod is supplied in 2 halves. The diameter of the pole the recess supports are intended for is listed in the name of each product as well as the filter navigation on the left-hand side of the page. When fitting drapes, remember the thicker diameter rods will support heavier-weight curtains. Dozens of Curtain Pole Brackets and Connectors
If you're also purchasing a pole and components for these fixings we recommend not mixing products from other ranges as colours and diameters can sometimes slightly vary. If you are looking for a different style of bracket, please return to the curtain pole brackets and connectors department.
