The Hallis Professional Roman Blind Kit is a robust, time tested Roman blind system offering professional performance at excellent value. Designed for durability, smooth operation, and long term reliability, this aluminium Roman blind kit is ideal for creating your own DIY Roman blind at home using your chosen fabric (sold separately). Complete Roman Blind Kit

Supplied as a complete kit, the aluminium headrail houses a smooth sidewinder mechanism, providing reliable raise and lower operation with consistent control. Gear ratio and fabric weight capacity vary by width to ensure optimal performance. 

Easy to fit Leverlock brackets allow for wall or ceiling fixing and also enable you to conveniently remove the blind from the window for cleaning. The kit includes a 75cm chrome control chain with a tension device, supplied on the right hand side as standard, but it can be easily repositioned to the left at home if preferred. The chain length can also be shortened if required. 

Designed for everyday use, the mechanism is strong, dependable, and built from high quality components, supporting the recommended fabric weight for the selected width, ensuring compatibility with most standard Roman blind fabrics. Please note: curtain heding tape and velcro tape is sold seperately.

Available Sizes & Installation Notes

Smaller widths use a 1:1 gear ratio for smooth everyday operation, while wider blinds benefit from a 1:4 geared system, making heavier fabrics easier to raise and lower.

Available in the following widths – all supplied with an adjustable 350cm drop:

• 60cm – 1:1 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 3kg.
• 90cm – 1:1 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 3kg.
• 120cm – 1:1 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 3kg.
• 150cm – 1:1 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 3kg.
• 180cm – 1:4 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 6kg.
• 210cm – 1:4 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 6kg.
• 250cm – 1:4 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 6kg.
• 300cm – 1:4 gear ratio, suitable for fabric weights up to 6kg.

The aluminium headrail, fibreglass rods and weight bar can be easily cut down to your exact required width at home using a fine tooth saw. The blind drop can also be altered at home for a beautiful made to measure finish. We recommend wearing gloves and taking care when cutting the fibreglass rods.
