Return your mismeasured blinds.
Your blinds will be re-made to the correct sizes and re-dispatched.
If you’ve measured the inside of your window recess, please select the “Inside recess” option. We will make a very small total deduction of 5mm to the width of your blind to ensure a snug and precise fit within the window recess, so please don’tmake any deductions to your measurement.
Note: Please ensure your recess depth is 68mm or more to accommodate the projection of the roller blind brackets.
Exact Size
Choose this option if you wish to have your roller blind fitted on the wall outside of the window recess area. For best coverage we recommend that your blind overlaps each side of the window by at least 6 cm.
Control Location
Choose the side from which you'd like to operate your blinds.
Keep in mind any potential obstacles, such as furniture, that could impede access to the controls or cause obstructions.
If you're installing multiple blinds in the same window, it's recommended to have one control on the left and another on the right. This arrangement prevents the controls from obstructing your window.
Remember that any cords must be secured to the wall using a child safety device, which will be provided with your order at no additional cost.

If you have chosen to install your blind as “Inside recess” the width is the measurement from one side of the recess to the other.
If your blind is “Exact size” i.e. being installed on the wall outside of the recess, the width is the measurement from back of bracket to back of bracket.
Note: all blind widths included both fixing brackets, the raise and lower mechanism and the roller blind fabric.
Actual fabric width
Your roller blind fabric will be slightly less than the total width you enter, this is due to the brackets and control mechanism taking up a small amount of space which is completely normal.
The diagrams below show the measurement from the outer edge of the roller fabric to the back of the brackets. Knowing this measurement can be useful when fitting your blind in a partly tiled window recess, or if you’re calculating the actual width of the fabric you require.
The back of bracket to fabric measurement varies depending on your blind width -
Blinds width up to 200cm
Blinds width up to 200.1cm to 300cm
Blinds width up to 300.1cm to 400cm
Enter your Drop
“Drop” refers to the highest point of the roller blind down to the bottom edge of the blind when fully extended.
As standard practice, our blinds are manufactured with a slightly longer drop than specified. This is to ensure enough fabric remains on the roller tube when the blind is fully lowered.
Decide whether you want to hang the blinds OUTSIDE (Exact Fit Blinds) or INSIDE (Recess Fit Blinds) the window recess.
How to Measure for Exact
Measure the exact area (width and drop) you wish your blind to cover (shown on the image). We recommend adding an overlap of 6cm to all sides of the roller blind.
How to Measure for Recess
Take precise width measurements at three different points within the recess. If any tiles are partially placed in the recess, record the smallest measurement. Keep in mind that the overall width of the roller blind includes both the brackets and control mechanism; our adjustments will accommodate this factor.
Measure the vertical drop within the recess, extending to either the window sill or your desired endpoint for the blind.

Easy controls
Our roller blinds come equipped with a quality precision sidewinder raise and lowering mechanism accompanied by a white looped control chain, the side of which can be specified.
Please note - we manufacture the looped control chain with a maximum length of up to 100 cm, adhering to child safety legislation.

Brackets and components
The supplied white metal brackets have a universal fixing, which enables the blind to be fitted to either a face fix (wall) or top fix (ceiling) surface. Please note, wall plugs and fixing screws are not included.
To maintain their integrity over time, each of our roller blinds are made with an aluminium roller tube to prevent warping or bowing, an especially important feature if fitting in damp environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.
We manufacture our blinds with a standard straight bottom edge, with a plastic weight bar either stitched or head welded into the fabric seam.
