The Speedy 19/22mm Telescopic Double Room Darkening Pole offers a smart, practical way to maximise privacy, light control and reduce light leakage in any room. Its clever room darkening return design allows your curtains to sit closer to the wall, helping to minimise light escaping from the sides. The double layer pole layout lets you combine different types of curtains, from blackout, to sheer to create customised levels of light and privacy - perfect for bedrooms and any room needing daytime or nighttime light management.

Complete Curtain Pole Kit

Supplied complete and ready to fit, the Speedy Telescopic Double Room Darkening Pole is available in two adjustable sizes:

• 130–210cm – telescopic, no cutting required.
• 210–360cm – telescopic, no cutting required.

Both the 19mm–22mm front pole and the 16mm–19mm back pole telescope smoothly to your required length, eliminating the need for cutting and ensuring a precise fit. The set includes all wall fix end brackets, a centre bracket, fixing screws, wall plugs, and easy to follow fitting instructions. Curtain stop screws are also included at each end of the poles to secure the back of the curtains in place.

Curtain Compatibility

This pole set is supplied without curtain rings, making the system suitable for eyelet, tab‑top and channel headed curtains on both the front and back poles. 28mm curtain rings are available separately, allowing you to hang standard‑headed curtains such as pencil pleat or pinch pleat on the front pole if preferred.

The back pole is ideal for sheers, voiles, or lightweight channel headed curtains, giving you flexible layering options for daytime privacy.

The pole set is suitable for a combined curtain weight of up to 8kg.
